In order to process a loan in a timely manner, the following information will be needed at time of application.
 
: Year-to-date pay stub
: W-2's for the last two years
: Award letter from social security and proof of purchase
: Award letter from pension program or retirement income & proof of receipt (copy of check or bank statement)
: Past three months bank statements for each bank account (checking & savings) disclosed at application
: Verification of stocks and bonds
: Statement to verify 401(k), IRA's, etc.
: Offer to purchase or construction contract
: Closing statement on the sale of your home or 1) copy of contract for the sale of your home or 2) copy of contract with relocation company to purchase your home
: Copy of Deed if purchased lot separately
: Complete copy of separation agreement and/or divorce decree

Also needed - Complete mailing address and account numbers for the following:

: Bank accounts
: Both checking and savings
: Credit card statement - even if the balance is paid in full each month
: Installment debts with more than 10 months remaining (including loans against 401(k) or savings
: Name, address and phone number for landlords
: Name, address and account number for current mortgage
: Address, market value, mortgage information and expenses for second home
: Address, market value, mortgage information and copy of leases for all rental property

The real estate agent and/or contractor should provide the following:

: Copy of cancelled earnest money check
: Appraisal information
: Legal description and directions to the property
: Two complete sets of plans and specifications for new construction
: Last but not least, a check for the appraisal and credit report up front. (Usually approximately $350-$450)
