The hospital is licensed for 86 beds – 43 are skilled nursing home beds and 43 are acute-care beds. The hospital is owned by Pender County and is a part of New Hanover Health Network. Laboratory and imaging services, surgical services, an emergency department and a range of health care specialties. The hospital is building a new surgical center with two operating rooms. The hospital plans to open Pender Health and Diagnostics, an outpatient rehabilitation, radiology and lab services center in Rocky Point, in August.
