Opened in 2001, this hotel has a large outdoor pool and a great room with a fireplace and wonderful scenic views of North Shore Golf Course Country Club and the Intracoastal Waterway. In-room amenities include refrigerators, free high-speed Internet access, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards, hair dryers, two-line speaker phones with data ports and color televisions. Out of a total of 68 rooms, there are 15 suites with king-size beds, pull-out sofas and microwave ovens. Some rooms have whirlpool tubs. Guests can enjoy a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast bar featuring fresh fruit, cereals, pastries and assorted breads. Located on the golf course, this hotel is just a short drive over the high-rise bridge to North Topsail Beach. Seasonal rates apply. AAA and AARP discounts and government rates are available as well as wedding and golf packages and group rates. The hotel has an elevator, is ADA compliant and is open year round.

The Island Inn is located directly across from the beach and has been recently renovated. Their 21 motel rooms vary in size and include a refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. There is a pool with bright blue umbrellas. Island Inn is located within two blocks of downtown Surf City's restaurants, shopping and fishing pier. It's open April through October.

Queens Grant offers oceanfront and sound front condominiums with your choice of two or three bedrooms. Units have a variety of amenities, including microwave ovens, washers and dryers, TVs, VCRs and phones. Located on the property are a swimming pool, hot tub, tennis court, boat dockage, fish-cleaning station, clubhouse and picnic/recreation area with grills. This is a pet-free, smoke-free environment with a two-night minimum stay. This oceanfront motel features friendly service, large rooms, cable TV, balconies, individually controlled air conditioning and full-size appliances. Individual rooms are privately owned, so decor and furnishings vary. There are 17 rooms with refrigerators and microwaves, eight efficiencies, five mini-efficiencies and two apartments. Golf packages, romantic getaways and family reunions are some of the services offered. Discounts apply for seniors and seven-day stays, and children younger than 12 stay free. Pets are allowed with a $30 surcharge. This motel closes for the winter and re-opens March 1.
